Join us for another evening of Live Music at The House this Wednesday 13th March 2013, with Josh Bray & The BlackWhites and Chaz Thorogood.

Doors open at 7.00pm.

The BlackWhite

The BlackWhite are a London based four piece alternative/rock band with a contemporary, artistic vision founded upon ambitious musical invention and conscientious lyrical beauty. They have just released their debut material, the eponymous “The BlackWhite EP” through the Gods in the Records this new year. A release, which in three songs manages to cover more territory than most bands can muster over an entire album. It features the darkly atmospheric, Orwellian opener “Feed the Night” slotted in perfectly next to contemporary, epic, indie/synth number “Embers” and the driving, jiving smash hit in waiting “Cut Through the Middle”. Ed (drums), Josh (guitar, vox), Guy (guitar) and Harry (bass) who collectively are The BlackWhite, have already garnered BBC radio support from Gary Crowley with their demo for “Embers” as well as the lead track from the EP, ‘Cut Through the Middle’ and are continuing to set fire to the London scene with their stonking live approach, which never apologises for smacking you upside the head and leaving you gagging for more; like the sonic version of Christian Grey.

<Chaz Thorogood

Chaz Thorogood – On many occasions you hear the words ‘the next big thing’ and ‘one to watch out for’ and listening to Chaz’s songs there can be no doubt that those are words that you can attach to this artist. He has a mesmerising voice which instantly grabs hold of you, his guitar playing sounds as though it is the most natural thing in the world to him. This is an artist whose purpose in life was to create beautiful songs.

We are dedicated to discovering, developing and promoting the very “best of the best” in emerging acts and breaking artists and our Live Music evenings will be weekly, every Wednesday, from April onwards.
