The countdown to the festive period is now well underway and before long we’ll be in December… who can believe it’s not far from Christmas! Here at Beaufort House Chelsea we believe that there is no better time of the year, unless you are Scrooge or just a miserable so and so!
To get you into the Christmas Spirit here is a list of some of our favourite things about the festive season!
Christmas Trees: There is nothing more exciting the going to pick out a tree and gathering around with people you love to add all the lights and ornaments. It brightens up anyone’s day. We will have trees in abundance at The House throughout December.
Chance of Snow: Who doesn’t dream of a white Christmas? Kids and adults alike wish for a sprinkling of snow on Christmas Day! (or even just a heavy frost does the trick!)
Lights: Walking around and seeing all the beautiful Christmas lights can make anyone smile. Everything just glistens and shines more during this season. We love how stunning Beaufort House looks at Christmastime all lit up, warm and welcoming. Come & see for yourselves.
Time off: Everyone is desperate for a bit of time off work by the end of the year, and a perfect time to just chill out and relax with family and friends. Why not gather a group of friends for a lazy lunch or drinks and nibbles at Beaufort House this December?
Hot Chocolate: Hot Chocolate warms the soul, and this is the best season for it. We serve a delicious Hot Chocolate at The House, so come and by with the kids and try it.
Christmas Parties: There are so many parties during this season. Everyone wants an excuse to stand under mistletoe, drink cocktails, wine, spirits, in fact anything on offer, and spread the Christmas cheer. We still have limited availability at THE best Christmas Party Venue in the heart of Chelsea so call us today to book in your festive celebration.
Ugly Christmas jumpers: An excuse to wear an ugly jumper is always acceptable. No one can tell me they don’t secretly love wearing these dreadful jumpers! A popular theme for your work Christmas Party and we love seeing just how horrid these jumpers can be!
Presents: Christmas shouldn’t be about the presents, but we all secretly love getting them. How can anyone not look forward to unwrapping a pressie and being surprised?
Lots of Sugar: This is one of the few seasons where sugary treats are in abundance, and tit seems like there are no limits to how many candy canes, gingerbread men, or Quality Street you can eat. Come on by the House this December and we will be offering you all of the above to get you in the festive mood!
Stockings: Christmas Stockings are pretty amazing, unless you get coal in yours. Then they are pretty terrible.
Snuggling: It’s cold outside, and this is the season to warm up with someone special. There is no better time to snuggle up with someone and where better than at The House, your home from home in the heart of Chelsea.
Ice Skating: There are so many pop up ice skating rinks around London now, and we love seeing all the happy faces out on the skating rink outside The Natural History Museum or Somerset House. Come on by to Beaufort House after and enjoy a cocktail or two after all that exercise!
Mistletoe: Is there any better excuse to bump into that special someone under some mistletoe? We will have mistletoe in abundance at Beaufort House Chelsea giving you every opportunity to grab that special someone for a Christmas kiss.
Carols and Music: Jingle Bells, Deck the Halls, Fairytale of New York, Silent night, or a bit of Slade, Cliff, or Mariah Carey, you choose, we simply can’t help singing along with all of them and getting into the Christmas spirit.
Father Christmas: Old Saint Nick brought wonder and joy to us as children, and still is secretly a favourite for adults too! What will you be asking for this Christmas?
